We gave updates on the battery fire in Moss Landing, relaying messages from the county office of response, recovery and resilience and letting people know about several road closures.
Dr. Pete told how he would treat animals burned in fires, as well as how eclipses affect animals, what he thinks of raw food for cats and that we should bang on the hood of a car in this cold weather before starting it, just to warn any critters that have sought refuge there. Lastly, he and Rosemary laughed themselves silly talking about English racing snails.
Charlie mentioned that this is the time of year to plant bare root roses. He explained in detail how to prune and otherwise maintain existing roses, also done this time of year.
Alex liked the movies this week better than Rosemary, who was of the opinion that every last one of them is a stinker. They did agree that David Lynch, who just died, made quite a mark in the industry.
