Dr. Pete reminded us that as it gets colder it becomes more likely for our pets or our neighbors' pets to seek warmth in a car's wheel well or engine compartment. It is a good idea then, if we are about to start a car that is still warm or was not long ago, to bang on the hood a few times first. Bill allowed as how that might concern onlookers. Rosemary countered with "Who cares?"
Alex joined to discuss the week's new releases, which included only one Christmas movie, and lots of documentaries. He wanted to see several of these, but Rosemary could not bring herself even to select a pick of the week.
