Dr. Pete discussed hip dysplasia in dogs. He warned us about Xylitol in Halloween candy, and candy in general. Then we heard a fascinating story of how smart crows are, and how a bird's attitude toward a particular person can be passed from one crow generation to the next. Charlie Keutman said even if this year is not a drought year, droughts will always return to California. He told of several native species that will do well when it is drier. Rosemary's movie pick of the week was Juror #2. There were so many good ones that Alex could not come up with a favorite.
